The god of the dead

When I make notes about The Heart of the Home, which I’ve done a lot over the years I took to write it, I don’t usually write out the title in full; even I’m not that pedantic. Often I abbreviate it to Heart, but sometimes I’ll write the acronym: THOTH.

Many people know that Thoth was the, or an, ancient Egyptian god of the dead. That’s not an ideal omen. However, he was also god of writing, and wisdom.

I’m hoping he smiles on the right side of his face these days.
