Tact

I’m not a slow writer, but I am a re-writer. If it’s for publication, I edit, and edit, and edit…

For The Heart of the Home, I had to do more than the obvious (communicate, include, and be factually correct). I’d decided that I couldn’t write about designing kitchens without also writing about selling them, which meant writing about companies and practices with whom and which I don’t necessarily agree. I had to decide how tactful to be.

When addressing negatives, I haven’t named names. Those who know can read between the lines – but then, they know already.

If you buy it, drop a review on Amazon. It helps it get noticed.
